YuMmY treats and movies to watch...

In a time where movie after movie is re-made and reality television has taken over, quality films are hard to find. I have decided to not only update our readers about our family, every week I will post a review on a new release and write my favorite recipe for a yummy treat to go along with. As a writer, who hasn't written anything for 2 years, I feel that I need to start warming up my gears and find my voice in writing again.

I have discovered that I want to write about entertainment and food, as most of you know I am not a newspaper writer (or I don't find any pleasure in it). When I was at San Francisco State, I was a multimedia editor for our newspaper [X]press. I wrote stories and produced multimedias about the environment such as the oil spill in the bay or my series on shark extinction. Now that I have given you a little backround to my passion for writing I am going to begin my project.

The time is coming...

28 weeks

So, we are coming closer and closer to the day when Parker will be in our lives and we are so excited. Last week we had our 28 week check up and our Doctor told us that Parker will be coming a little bit sooner then planned and should arrive towards the end of march rather then April. We are really hoping he is a Pisces just like us. :) Each week my stomach is growing more and more. He kicks so much and moves around so frequent I don't notice some days. This Thursday, January 21 we are having our 29 week ultrasound and we couldnt be more excited. Everyone always tells us how the 3d ultrasounds look exactly like your baby. Aaron thinks Parker will look like him but have my eyes. Who knows...

Everything is ok right now and thank you for all the warm thoughts when we found out I was highly anemic and having preterm labor symptoms.

3 more months and counting

So, we have offically hit the third trimester and it seems like everything has gone by so quickly. In a short 3 months we will have a baby join our family and we can't wait. This Saturday, January 9, Aaron and I are getting a tour of Los Robles Hospital and we are begining our birthing classes over the next several weeks. Here are a few pictures of me at 25 weeks and we will take more as each week progresses.
