Playing catch up

It has been WAY too long.

I keep getting lost in Mommy world & work.

So, let's play catch up.

Parker is going to be 6 month's in the next week, Oct. 2. 

Since I still have pregnancy brain,

I don't remember exactly where we left off.

(Here is Parker, 6 months old)

Let me bring everyone up to speed. 

 Parker is officially eating solids.

I attempted to actually make baby food,

but the end result was buying the organic, pre-made food.

I'm just too busy. And now I might try again.

Parker is sitting up all by himself. He loves it!!!

All he wants to do is play, sit up,

do everything by himself, & put everything in his mouth.

Every Sunday is Family day at the beach.

This past weekend was the first time Parker was

actually alert at the beach.

Daddy was excited to finally use the tools we got when I was

6 months pregnant and Parker was excited too!



Parker is officially rolling over and sitting up.

He is (imagine pushing together your index finger and thumb)

THAT close to crawling.

Step #1: sitting and thinking about what toy he wants

Step #2: pulling, swinging, and attempting to roll his body over

Step #3: DaDaaaaa! He made it!

Besides, all these updates on Parker eating solids, sitting up by himself, almost crawling, etc...

Daddy and I have also been busy everyday.

AND I OFFICALLY IN
THE BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE!I FIT INTO MY SKINNY JEANS.
 



We had bachelor and bachelorette weekends,
which took a tole on my heart, but gave my skin a little bronze.
During the weekend away with the girls,

I secretly ran off to call the hubby and find out that  

Parker would cry and scream "Momma" every night.

He has also become a little attached.

Some moms say that its bad for baby,

but I don't care.

My heart melts every time he gives me that look,

the "I only want my momma" look.

When someone is holding him,

thinking they could make him stop crying,

but no one can because I am in ears distance.

And he just wants me.

Every night,

I put him to sleep and take care of him when he's sad or hurt.

We will save the busted lip story for another time.

Besides Parker updates,

here are a quick updates in my life.

Our garden is growing magical and endless.

(Our tomatoes are bigger then softballs & we pick fresh raspberries daily. Our Japanese cucumbers are huge ! AND Bubba loves playing in the garden.)



Aaron was finally able to fix his cover up tattoo...

And we also got Parker 3 Halloween costumes...

But, the best are a pair of Pjs.

ON A SERIOUS NOTE....

My dad had to have a surgery which has left him

with almost no mobility in his neck.

He was in a horrible car accident,

and left him with 6 discs in his vertebrate replaced.

He can barely hold Bubba for more then 2 minutes,

but he tries and that's what makes the difference.

AND we found out the most AMAZING news of my life.

My Best Friend (Sister) of 22 years is pregnant.

Can you believe it?

When your a little girl,

you always dream of having kids with your BFF,

but we did not think this was going to happen a year ago.

Congrats! I love you guys.

AND Parker will either have a "partner in crime"

or his future wife in a year.

I could not be more happy!
